After rekindling their summer relationship and making things official,Love Island'sLucie Donlan has revealed how she is taking things slowly and more chilled with former islander and now boyfriend Joe Garratt.

Lucie said things are going really well with Joe, telling heatworld: "It's nice to get it out there because before we were kinda keeping it quite quiet and taking the pressure off it. Now that it's actually a thing, we can just go out and have fun, so it's really nice."

The former islander continued to reveal why they won't be moving in together any time soon: "I'm chill about that kind of stuff. I like my space, he's got his space."

"I'm up in London a lot so I'll go and stay with him, and he'll come down to Cornwall a lot. We're enjoying it, so it's nice."

Lucie also spoke out about Greg O'Shea and Amber Gill going their separate ways after winning the series.

She said: "I'm gutted because I didn't really expect it. It's so early on as well. I'm gutted for them."

He said: "I think I've started a trend. It's happening for everybody now. No, I mean, it's sad for everybody. There's various reasons why these things are happening."

"It seems to be distance. If you look at Belle Hassan and Anton Danyluk, if you look atGreg and Amber, they live so far away from each other, how can they actually make that work with schedules and stuff" he continued.

"You know, Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague they live close to each other, and they were in there long enough to make time for each other. They will go the distance, but it's not going to happen to everyone."

Former Islander Maura Higgins also opened up about the couple's recent split at the awards, and said she was "shocked about it all".

She revealed that hearing about the news when she appeared on The Late Late Show 'wasn't the nicest thing to hear' but: "Amber is such a strong woman and she's independent. She will be absolutely fine."

Amber thanked her friends for all the love and supportat the awards since splitting from Greg and starting her new life outside of the villa.

The winner said: "I think because I was there for so long I had no idea what I was coming out to, so the amount of love and support I've received has been amazing."
