The Love Island couples aren't having the best time at the moment are they?
First, reality TV fans' lives came crashing down when Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announced they had split amid rumours of a cheating scandal.
Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Mohammad also confirmed they were no longer an item after a year together.
THEN on Wednesday 28 August, Matilda Draper and Sean Stone revealed that they had gone their separate ways after just a few weeks together.
If we are being honest, and you know we like to keep it real heat at heat Towers, we aren't THAT surprised the duo lasted 0.2 seconds out in the real world - all that sweet talking will only get you so far.
But what we are surprised about is which Love Island 2024 villa mate Matilda decided to spend some time with shortly after announcing her split from the Candyman.
Matilda was spotted getting up, close and personal with Casa Amor girlie Diamanté Laiva on Diamanté's Instagram grid; yep, the very same Diamanté she went head to head with at the always chaotic post-Casa recoupling after she shared a smooch with Sean.
Not only were the unexpected couple all smiles in the post, Diamanté added the caption, "we’re like… so in love! 😍✨" and we just wish we could see Sean's reaction to the photo.
We weren't the only ones shocked by Matilda and Diamanté becoming new founds besties, fans flocked to the comments section to voice their thoughts on the dynamic new duo.
"Posting this after their breakup is willldddd 😂," one person wrote with another adding, "Right after they break up 😂😂😂😂."
Matilda remained loyal during Casa Amor week only having a little flirt with Hugo Godfroy who ended up coming back to the main villa on the arm of Jess White.
Sean on the other hand could barely keep his anything to himself; hands, lips, confectionary-themed chat up lines...and ended up sharing a snog with not only Diamanté but Ruby Dale as well.
Cue Matilda and Diamanté sharing a few harsh words at the fire pit but clearly that's all water under the bridge and they have formed an alliance we never expected but obviously adore.
WATCH: Ruby and Diamanté's have had enough of Sean's candy jokes
