Love Island: All Stars has officially come to an end, and we won't shut up about it.
Although Molly Smith and Tom Clare have been crowned the winners of the first ever All Stars series, the nation was gripped by a different love story throughout this season. Since they entered the villa as bombshells on day one, the nation was begging for Molly and Callum Jones to rekindle their romance, and here at heat we haven’t given up hope.
Molly and Callum ended their three-year relationship just before entering the villa, but it didn’t stop viewers hoping that they would see the light and realise that they’re perfect for each other- no offence, Tom.
Thankfully, we can now ask their fellow Islanders what they really think about the exes, and whether or not there’s a chance they’ll ditch their partners and maybe even split that £50k if Molly is feeling generous.
As we all know, the only upside to Love Island coming to an end is we finally get to ask the dumped Islanders all our burning questions. This week, we got to sit down with Joanna Chimonides and Chris Taylor for heat’s Under the Duvet, and we of course asked about our favourite non-coupled couple.
When asked if she thought Tom and Molly could last on the outside, Joanna admitted that, like us, she too has a soft spot for Molly’s original partner.
“I think [Tom and Molly] could work… I think it could last, but I do think, I’m just taking it from a personal experience, if I was in the villa with my ex-boyfriend, and then I came out… I don’t know I think [Callum and Molly] might rekindle.” If an Islander who spent every day with them in the villa thinks that there’s still hope, then so do we.
Chris then chimed in and admitted, “They were talking about walking their dogs together on the outside.” If that’s not love, what is?
Maybe Jess Gale and Tom could give it a go? These Islanders do love to swap partners in the blink of an eye, why not do it one more time?
