Despite it very much being in the name of the show, not everyone finds love on Love Island and Munveer Jabbal was unfortunately one of the unlucky ones who found themselves dumped from the villa without even so much of a sniff of romance.
However, the ITV2 show can also provide contestants with a wealth of opportunities and the Love Island 2024 OG has revealed he’s using his newfound fame to launch an exciting new venture.
A lot of former Islanders like Megan Barton-Hanson, Hannah Elizabeth and Kodie Murphy have joined OnlyFans since appearing on the show and are raking it in on the X-rated subscription platform, but Munveer’s new career is saucy in an entirely different way altogether.
The 30 year old, who worked in recruitment before jetting off to Mallorca, is bringing out his own brand of salsa called Mamma Salsa.
Munveer recently joined us at heat Towers alongside fellow dumped Islander Patsy Field and when discussing their next steps, he told us, “I’ve got a salsa business, salsa dip, which I’m working on at the moment. So yeah, watch this space.”
Although his new business is keeping him busy post-villa, Munveer also spoke out on rumours he could join Love Island USA after fans called for him to head Stateside like Scott van-der-Sluis did last summer.
“Sign me up, I’m bang up for it,” Munveer told us.
“We’ll have to speak to some of the producers this side to see what we can do, but right now I’m just taking it one step at a time.”
Well, it’s not a no. Watch this space, folks…
Shortly after being dumped, Munveer revealed he was looking on the bright side despite being sad to leave.
“It’s disappointing but that’s the way the cookie crumbles. I can’t look back and say I wish this happened or wish that happened because I had a good time,” he explained.
“I made some really good friends. Obviously I didn’t find the one, which is why I was there but these things happen.”
