Love Island finally returned to our screens last night (Monday 13 January) when the new series of All Stars kicked off and 12 of our fave Islanders from years gone by – including Kaz Crossley, Nas Majeed and Catherine Agbaje – walked back into the villa for a second shot at love.
One of the most jaw-dropping moments of episode one was when Olivia Hawkins let slip that Love Island 2024 playboy Ronnie Vint had messaged her while he was still seeing villa girlfriend Harriett Blackmore and had even tried to arrange a date through his agent.
The winter Love Island 2023 star awarded Ronnie with a red flag while exposing his secret messages, despite him insisting that he wasn’t in a proper relationship with Harriett at the time.
Ronnie came under fire from viewers on social media following Liv’s revelation, with one commenting, ‘Ronnie messaging Liv when he was with Harriett… what a surprise,’ while another wrote, ‘Ronnie really though he was in with Liv 😂😩.’
However, since the episode aired, Ronnie’s close pal – and Love Island legend in her own right – Olivia Attwood has taken to TikTok to expose some major tea about the whole situation.
While she admitted that Ronnie was ‘wrong’ for messaging Liv while he was seeing Harriett, Olivia revealed that the Brighton-based actress-turned-reality star was ‘very engaged’ when it came to replying to him.
Olivia began, ‘I’m always going to defend the girls and defend another person called Olivia, because it’s the best name, however my information is and my stance on this…
‘Not backing Ron, he shouldn’t have messaged someone if was, you know, in a situationship or whatever. I don’t know the status of him and Harriett at that time, but Olivia was very engaged in the messaging back and forth. He wasn’t talking to himself.’
The Love Island 2017 star continued, ‘I think the picture of him holding Harriett’s hand, she Photoshopped her face over it and sent it back to him on DM. I just dropped that tea.’
Tea indeed. So hot, we’ve now got a third degree burn.
Olivia added, ‘I feel like on the show it was made to look a little bit more one-sided than it was, but I do think that Ron took his red flag like a gent and he obviously knows he is wrong for messaging someone.’
