When it comes to Love Island couples, they often fall into three categories; those that stay together from the get-go and make it to the final, those that couple up near the end and make it to the final and those who have a tumultuous romance full of head-turning, Casa Amor antics and swapping couples and THEN, of course, make it to the final.
There is no denying that Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde fall into the latter. From Ty flirting with every bombshell that slow-mo walked into the Love Island 2023 villa, to Ella returning from Casa with Ouzy See, it was drama after drama.
Although they came in second place, the couple split once they left the villa and my OH MY it was messy AF - and continues to be so.
Ella previously chatted to GK Barry about her split from Ty and although there is constant speculation they have reunited their recent social media posts are telling us otherwise.
Ella posted a TikTok of her lip-syncing to 95 Degrees by Glorilla with writing printed across the video that read, "Me singing this knowing fine well I'm a lover girl that loves being boo'd up."
But it was the caption that truly caused some chaos, as Ella wrote, "Should’ve been baecations all summer 😔."
Just a few days later Ty posted a clip on the social media platform of himself smoking and doing shots with the EXACT SAME caption that Ella used on her TikTok.
Obviously, it took the internet a grand totally of 0.02 seconds to pick up on this and Ty's followers filled the comments section with their thoughts on the matter.
"Tyrique😭😭😭 you are a diabolical man," with another writing, "Not the caption lmao Nah yous both r hilarious 😭😭," and someone else adding, "The caption is insaneeee! 😭😂."
Another fan wrote, "Tyrique knows how to mess with us 😂," and we could not agree more. What the hell is going on in the House of Commons?
Is Ty mocking Ella? Is Ty using this as an olive branch? Is he hoping she will book a cheeky holiday for them to reunite? Again.
Obviously, if we find out any more deets we will let ya'll know, but that goes both ways, everyone. Keep us informed if you see them smooching at a club or rowing in a bar, please.
