It's been a hot sec since Love Island finalist Tyrique Hyde was on our TV screens; the last we heard he was rumoured to be taking part in All Stars 2025, but the series has been and gone with the footballer turned reality TV star turned rapper never making an appearance.

He might not have featured on the second series of the dating show spin-off, but Tyrique had plenty to say about those who were taking part. Every time an episode aired, the Love Island 2023 finalist would take to social media to offer his (often hilarious and savage) thoughts on what was going down.

Fast forward to April 2024 and Tyrique is finally making a return to TV, this time on a Channel 4 programme titled The Snake where he will be reunited with fellow Love Island finalist and rap partner, Whitney Adebayo.

Ty and Whit will be joined by the likes of Love Island 2021 alumni Chloe Burrows as well as YouTuber Harry Pinero, CelebrityBig Brother housemate Zeze Millz and hip hop artist Konan, to name but a few.

According to the official Channel 4 website, The Snake is a game show that 'combines competitive quiz with strategic gameplay as some of the players only win by getting the answers wrong.'

Whitney and Tyrique both made it to the final of Love Island with Whitney being declared runner-up alongside Lochan Nowacki, who she split from just this month, Ty came in third place on the arm of ex girlfriend, Ella Thomas.

During their time in the villa, the Islanders had a brother/sister dynamic which made for hella entertaining telly.

One minute they were performing at the talent show together and Whit was offering sage advice to Ty by using his tattoo as advice and the next they were hollering obscenities across the dinner table with Tyrique telling Whitney, 'Shush, man.'

We are hoping that another iconic song, one that they ACTUALLY release, will come out of the meet-up between Ty and Whit because we were robbed of them every official releasing, 'It's Giving Bad B*tch,' AKA the best collaboration to ever come out of Love Island ever.
