We know that Made in Chelsea falls into the 'structured reality TV' genre but we have to admit that we are not entirely convinced we know what the hell 'structured reality TV' means.

In the past, the likes of former MIC OG Spencer Matthews and Verity Bowditch have spoken openly about set-up scenes and having to re-film WTF events which begs the age old questions, is Made in Chelsea actually real?

The latest cast member to open up about made-for-TV moments is Sam Vanderpump who joined the show last year and has been an absolute menace.

It must be the name Sam (see Prince, Thompson.)

Sam - or Vanders as he is known to the cast because it's Made in Chelsea and what is a person without a high school style nick name? - recently took to social media to answer some of his followers' burning questions.

One person quizzed, 'How real is MIC? I've been a fan from the beginning and I find your strong values refreshing.'

At the moment, Sam is beefing with Tristan Phipps, in fact, the two can barely be in the same place without challenging one another to a fight. Very awkward for Reza Amiri-Garroussi who is close pals with them both.

'This is a hard one, it's real for sure, real opinions and real situations,' he began before adding.

He continued, 'However, what people have to bear in mind is some conversations are two hours long and only two minutes make it to the TV. Other situations are forced, so I would always take everything you see with a pinch of salt! But, thank you.'

Ah, the classic edit quote reality TV stars swear by.

Whether or not every single scene is forced or genuine, we are pretty certain the feud between Sam and Tristan is real as during the social Q&A, one person asked, 'Are you cool with Tristan now?'

To which Sam responded, 'Hmm, no.'
