Is there anything the incredibly rich and privileged Made in Chelsea gang can’t do? While some would be content to be on a popular reality series, many cast members have turned their appearances on the show into long-lasting careers and side hustles.

Spencer Matthews is now an entrepreneur with his own non-alcoholic gin brand and has featured in multiple other reality shows and documentaries, Harvey Armstrong launched Prime Time Lager which officially made him a millionaire, Lucy Watson is a full-blown influencer, and Jamie Laing, Sophie Habboo, Yasmine Zweegers, Sam Prince and Emily Blackwell all went on to launch podcasts.

Another MIC regular who branched out into a new career path is Verity Bowditch, who co-founded Clean Kitchen, a plant-based restaurant, back in 2020 alongside Mikey Pearce. She then understandably stepped back from the business in early 2024 when they added meat to their previously 100% vegan menu.

However, Verity hasn’t wasted any of her time off and has now launched yet another business. Her new venture comes in the form of a Pilates app, and the combination of her teaching experience and enviable lifestyle basically ensures it will be a roaring success.

She shared the news on Instagram, writing, “Exciting news!!! Pilates with Verity now has an app! I started teaching 5 years ago and over 2,000 (!!) of you joined me in online classes. Now, I’m turning my passion into a lifestyle and sharing the incredible benefits of Pilates.

"I wanted to create this to enable us to live our best lives 💅, wherever we are. Pilates has helped me through a rolla coaster of a year. It’s given me positivity, energy and transformed my body. I can’t wait to share it with you!”

Friends and followers have shared their support for the new venture, with former Made in Chelsea star Sophie Habboo commenting “Yessss girl ❤️❤️”.

This business is obviously very on-brand for Verity considering she has been teaching Pilates for half a decade. While we’ll obviously be wishing the best for Verity’s new job, we also hope this doesn’t mean another absence from MIC. She missed Bali and that was more than enough for us.

Sarah O'Byrne has been writing for heat since May 2023 and was shocked when she moved to the UK to find that not everyone speaks like the Made in Chelsea cast.
