Married At First Sight has introduced us to dozens of singletons over the years, but not all of them have gone down well with viewers.
Whether it’s MAFS UK 2024 groom Adam Nightingale revealing he’s not attracted to his bride Polly Sellman, Eve Reid’s behaviour towards Charlie Curtis, or over on the Australian series, Jack Dunkley’s outrageous ‘muzzle your woman’ comment, there have certainly been some divisive cast members on the show.
Another Australian groom who caused controversy when he appeared on the show is Harrison Boon, who rose to fame on last year’s MAFS Australia when he was paired with Bronte Schofield by the show’s experts.
Things might not have worked out between Harrison and Bronte, but he’s clearly found his happy ending after the show as he’s just announced he’s engaged to girlfriend Gina Ha.
Harrison revealed he’d popped the question to Gina during a romantic helicopter ride when he shared a picture of his other half showing off her engagement ring on Instagram.
Alongside the post, Harrison wrote, ‘For a brief moment Gina was actually wearing the highest rock in Uluru.’
Lots of MAFS star from both the Australian and UK series took to the comments section to congratulate Harrison and Gina, including Tori Adams, who wrote, ‘CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH!!🥂🤩🫶🏼 All the love from Jack and I.’
Georges Berthonneau added, ‘Congratulations to you both ❤️😍,’ while Duncan James, who recoupled with co-star Evelyn Ellis after the show, commented, ‘Congrats to you two. Amazing news, so happy for you ❤️.’
Harrison and Gina have been together for just over a year, having debuted their relationship last March on a night out in Sydney.
At the time, a source told Daily Mail Australia, “Harrison and Gina met a few months ago after his split from Bronte, and they've been inseparable ever since.
“They've kept their relationship under wraps until now, but with Harrison's TV marriage officially over, they're thrilled to be able to go public.”
