There is no denying the more we hear about Married At First Sight the more we feel for the brides and grooms that take part in the show looking for love.
From being told to create drama to having a strict budget, an alcohol limit and no access to your phone, it all feels a tad too controlled for our liking. We want £10,000 to spend on a wedding dress, unlimited tequila and to stay out of other people's business, thank you very much.
The latest star to open up about the not so enjoyable aspects of the show is MAFS UK 2023 bride, Laura Jayne Vaughan.
Laura was joined by fellow 2023 bride Tasha Jay on the Not My Bagg podcast, where they chatted to the Gogglebox family about their MAFS experience and doesn't it just sound like so much effort?
Joe quizzed the two about the iconic dinner parties and mixers where all the newlyweds come together and Laura couldn't help but spill the tea on some BTS secrets.
'The most jarring thing about those things are, you stand outside the double doors and you walk through as a couple and you can hear everyone else in there,' she explained.
It feels like that scene in Mean Girls when Cady Heron walks in to the gymnasium and EVERYONE goes silent because they were obviously taking about her. High school flashbacks we would not want to relive.
'Whoever you have fallen out with that week, you are damn sure are they are going to be the only couple in there and you don’t know what has been said,' Laura went on.
Laura was coupled up with Arthur Poremba on the series - they are definitely no longer an item, FYI - but she had a feud with Luke Worley after he accused her of being a 'gold digger'.
As for Tasha, she was constantly butting heads with Erica Roberts and the producers took that fall out and ran with it.
'Like you and Erica got put in together,' Laura explained and honestly? We couldn't be dealing with the hassle of another argument if that was us.
Pass us a bottle of Prosecco and we'll be on our way.
