Love Island viewers witnessed complete carnage last week when twelve brand new bombshells joined the show for Casa Amor hoping to turn heads and win themselves a place in the main villa.
It’s safe to say that the OG boys – with the exception of Ron Hall and Shaq Muhammad – found the temptation too much to handle, with three boys locking lips with the new girls.
Perhaps the most surprising of all was Will Young, who took Layla Al-Momani to the terrace for a kiss, despite going strong with Jessie Wynter before Casa Amor.
Although her kiss with Will sent shockwaves through the villa, Layla has revealed that she was originally getting to know ANOTHER boy.
Layla appeared on Aftersun with the rest of the dumped Casa Amor bombshells last night (Sunday 19 February) and spilled some major tea as they chatted to host Maya Jama.
She explained, “I don’t think we got any airtime really, but Kai and I really did kick it off quite well at the beginning.
“I was telling all the girls, ‘Guys, I think I’m in love!’ Ooh, I fancied Kai.”
Unluckily for Layla, Kai chose to couple up with Sanam Harrinanan instead.
Layla, who previously dated singer Conor Maynard, also opened up about her brief romance with Will as she insisted he was the one making all the moves.
“Something that didn’t come across on the show was that I didn’t pull Will for a single chat. He pulled me every time. Like I said, I was talking to Kai at the beginning,” she said.
“I’m really happy he did. He’s a lovely boy and I have nothing bad to say about him. We got on really well as friends. Did I think that boy’s head would turn? Absolutely not.
“We got on really well as friends. We were having great friendly chats. [What changed that was] him basically saying, ‘I think you’ll turn my head’ or something like that.”
