Love Island 2023 may well be over but the drama sure isn't and it looks like a fallout we all thought was quashed, most certainly is NOT.
Zara Lackenby-Brown and Tanyel Revan have practically been inseparable since they left the villa. The dumped Islanders may not have found romance during their time in the villa but they've clearly found a friendship.
Within the iconic relationship, Zara and Tanyel have also managed to find a bond in the form of their apparent dislike for another Islander and no guesses for who we're talking about.
During their time in the villa both Zara and Tanyel clashed with Olivia Hawkins and since Love Island has ended, all three Islanders have been throwing so much shade they’re practically living in darkness.
Posting ANOTHER TikTok together, Zara and Tanyel filmed themselves lip-syncing to the sound, “Bombastic side eye, criminal side eye,” and fans filled the comments section with Olivia’s name.
"Olivia needs to grow up she’s 27 acting like that pls," wrote one fan.
Someone else said, "Criminal offensive SIDE EYE TO olive oil."
A third person commented, "Weird behaviour if u ask me 🤔🤔🤔"
Someone else added, "The drama my god 😭😭😭".
Almost immediately after, Olivia seemingly responded with her own Instagram Story where she blew a kiss to the camera and had the song Obsessed by Mariah Carey playing over the top. Shots well and truly fired.
It seems that all the drama from inside the villa is bubbling to the surface now that show has finished and we have to ask, where was all this beef three weeks ago guys?
Instead of this could-have-been-fun-to watch chaos, we had to suffer through an hour of Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad snogging every second of the day and Casey O'Gorman pretending he knew how to play the trumpet.
At the start of the week, Zara and Tanyel posted a TikTok that featured the sound "I'm not saying she deserved it but God's timing is always right" and, naturally, everyone believes the video was also aimed at Liv.
The comment section did not disappoint from "This is definitely about Olivia BAHHAHAHAHAHA" to "THIS IS SO AIMED AT OLIVIA."
Zara's followers had an absolute field day with the TikTok and although neither of the Islanders confirmed who it was about, it's not likely going to be aimed at Lana Jenkins, is it?
Meanwhile, Olivia has only gone and formed an iconic alliance with fellow 'villain' Coco Lodge from Love Island 2022 and it truly is like we are living a pantomime.
What happened between Zara Lackenby Brown and Olivia Hawkins in the villa?
We know that Zara and Liv had history before taking part in the dating show and the drama when they both hit the villa was INTENSE.
Chatting on the Secure the Insecure podcast, Zara confessed, "Because I did know Olivia outside in a work setting I think she thought I just came in to ruffle her feathers, and it just wasn't intentional."
Zara said it had a huge impact on her relationship with the other girls as she added, "I think she was turning them against me a little bit.
"I would try and spend time getting to know the girls, and I feel like they wouldn't want to open up to me."
Zara went on to say she "did not feel welcomed" when she entered the villa and that Olivia "needs quite a big reality check".
The model and dancer even went on to throw shade at some of the other Islanders by admitting, "I don't think any of the couples are going to last long term.
"I think this year they do seem rather calculated."
Not finished with the Liv digs, Zara continued, "She's been trying to get onto Love Island for a long time. I think that was more calculated on her part."
Did Zara Lackenby-Brown and Olivia Hawkins know each other before Love Island?
Zara and Liv's pre-existing relationship was exposed during the early weeks of the series when one fan took to Twitter to share screenshots of their Instagram profiles and asked, “Why are Zara and Olivia pretending they don’t know each other?”
They added, “This might explain why Olivia seemed overly offended at Zara calling her two faced,” referring to the awkward moment Zara had to kiss the Islander she thought was the most two-faced.
In one screenshot, Olivia can be seen commenting, “Fave photo of you 😍,” on one of Zara pictures, while another shows her commenting, “Unreallllll 🔥.”
Then there’s a third screenshot of a comment Zara left under one of Olivia’s pics. It reads, “Absolutely unreal babes 😍🔥.”
Now, in previous years it might have been possible that whoever was looking after the Islander's accounts were behind the comments, but that can't be the case this year, as 2023 contestants were forbidden from having anyone run their social media while they were in the villa.
It soon became clear that Olivia and Zara knew each other as they've both appeared in music videos before, which is also how Zara has a connection to Manchester rapper Aitch.
Speaking before entering the villa, Zara said, "I’ve since gone onto do lots of modelling and dancing for music videos for UK and global artists, I’ve worked with people like Hardy Caprio, Headie One, Aitch, Tion Wayne and more."
