It’s been less than a month since winter Love Island 2023 came to end when Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan were crowned the winners but, while the wholesome couple are still going strong, the same can’t be said for the rest of this year's couples.
Casey O’Gorman revealed he and Rosie Seabrook were no longer an item a couple of weeks ago and then Zara Lackenby-Brown and Jordan Odofin split, and now another of this year’s couples have reportedly parted ways.
It’s claimed that Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda have called time on their relationship, just days after she insisted they were still together during a podcast appearance.
Unlucky in love, Liv appeared to have finally met her match in Casa Amor when she coupled up with Maxwell and it seemed like they were making things work on the outside world despite rumours about the relationship status.
Olivia seemingly set the record straight when she appeared on the Not My Bagg Podcast and said, “There’s been rumours that we split up, but no, we’re literally fine. We’re really good, cool, calm, collected. He’s a good guy and he treats me nice."
However, it’s now been claimed that the couple have, in fact, decided to split but have remained on amicable terms.
A source revealed, “Although it was rumoured they’d already split they only had a proper chat about where their relationship was going yesterday, and they both agreed the writing was on the wall.”
They told The Sun, “They had fun while it lasted, and there are no hard feelings at all, but he obviously went to Mexico, and Olivia has been focusing on work projects. They have naturally drifted apart."
Olivia and Maxwell’s representatives have been contacted for comment.
