Stop the press. Well, we are the press but listen up because it’s only been a few months since Love Island's Sammy Root and Jess Harding split and it looks like he’s already moved on.
Well, kind of.
At this point it’s pretty well known that most Islanders exclusively date other Islanders - we saw that with all the random recouplings we had no idea about on All Stars.
And speaking of All Stars, Sammy seems to have moved on with one of the returning Islanders.
We say move on… You decide for yourselves.
Posting a photo of himself alongside Chris Taylor on a night out he wrote, “Found the one ❤️”.
Okay, okay so they’re not together and Chris may have made some wild moves in the villa but we can't deny that he's absolutely gorg. We also would have loved to see this bromance in the All Stars villa.
Annoyingly Sammy chose to pass on returning to the villa simply because it wasn’t long after his time on Love Island 2023.
During an exclusive chat with us (heat), he said, "We spoke about All Stars, but for me it was very soon.
“I’d literally just got out of one and although it was an amazing show and I had a lot of fun, I was in two minds about it."
Fairs.
Sammy arrived in the villa in his swimming trucks and went on a date with three of the girls and despite loving a “brunette” (his words, no ours), he went on to win the show with London babe Jess.
Much like the rest of the Love Island winners (all except series two, series seven and series nine winners) they split just two months after winning the show.
It wasn’t all that bad though because they both bagged £25k. You win some, you lose some.
And one of Sammy’s co-stars who couldn’t get enough of the Love Island villa was his co-star Messy Mitch Taylor who returned for All Stars - six months after his first stint.
He caused just as much drama too. Remember that row with Anton Danyluk? He also had a few tiffs with Liberty Poole?
And we’ll never forget his savage speech when he returned to the show to nominate one of the couples.
LOL.
Stay messy, please Mitch.
