The latest series of Love Island may be over, but heat’s Under the Duvet podcast is still bringing you all the piping hot All Stars tea, and we’re going out in style this week with none other than the WINNERS of the show.

That’s right, we had Molly Smith and Tom Clare in the studio for a good old chinwag with our Harriet Rose and let us just say this: we left no stone unturned when it came to getting all the behind-the-scenes villa goss.

Something we had to ask Tom about was his friendship with Joe Garratt after the Love Island 2019 star branded Tom “snakey” following his brutal dumping.

ICYMI, Joe recently told us how he and Tom became close friends after being introduced by mutual pal Casey O’Gorman before All Stars, and admitted he was “heartbroken” when he realised that Tom voted for him to be dumped.

Joe added, “When I see him vote for me, he just agreed with Josh [Ritchie]. I thought, ‘What a cop out. I’ve been a good friend to you.’ I thought that’s so bad, man. Proper snakey.”

Of course, it’s only fair that we got Tom’s side of the story and he explained, “We were there for ages going round and round. Someone had said something else and then we’d go off that and then we’d pick a different couple and another couple.”

“They’ve only shown the bit when we said Joe and Joanna, they haven’t shown the bits where we spoke about everyone.”

It seems like Tom and Joe have cleared the air too as the handsome pair still follow each other on Instagram and, as we know, it’s not a celeb feud unless they’ve unfollowed each other and deleted all trace of their friendship from their social media.

For more Love Island goss from the latest dumped Islanders, make sure you listen to heat's under the duvet.
