We really don't want to tell anyone how to do their jobs, but Channel 4 should really be paying Married at First Sight brides and grooms for more than a month of filming, because the drama this lot deliver for literally months after filming is second to none – trash talking in interviews, shady TikToks, tell-all Instagram Q&As etc. Honestly, they're like never-ending human billboards for the series.
But while we're telling people how to their jobs; ITV, do what you need to do to keep Sharon Osbourne inside the Celebrity Big Brother house because the heat team are clinging on to her stories like she's Wendy and we're the Lost Boys.
Anyway, MAFS UK 2023 star Georges Berthonneau paid the heat team a visit last week for a quick natter about how he's doing after his break-up with bride Peggy Rose.
Peggy was, of course, a hot topic during the exclusive chat, but this is Georges we're talking about and he was more than happy to dish the dirt on several other of his fellow co-stars. Regular heat readers will know that Georges is not afraid to share his opinion on anyone, especially if said anyone has crossed him via a certain E4 reality show; cast your minds back to when he called Jordan Gayle and Erica Roberts "rodents" and when he referred to some of his co-stars as "knob cheese" if you need examples.
We have to say, this was not only one of the juiciest MAFS interviews we've ever conducted, but it's easily one of the juiciest celeb interviews we have ever conducted; Georges did not hold back (and then some), and frankly, most of the recording will never see the light of day.
Are we joking? No. No, we're not.
One thing we can share is that towards the end of candid chat with the iconic groom, Georges revealed the name of the surprising cast member who has him blocked him on Instagram (although not awfully surprising when you recall that he once called her and her ex 'rodents').
Yep, bride Erica has Georges on her Instagram blocked list and here's the tea because we know you're all parched...
In a conversation about exes Jordan and Erica, Georges exclusively revealed to heat (avec plenty of context), "The day I split up with Peggy, Jordan put a TikTok up and called me out for a boxing match and said how convenient that I split up with Peggy on Valentine's Day, trash talking me. But I sent him a lovely voice note saying, 'Unlike you, I'm not going to trash talk you, I'm just going to say, I hope you're okay, I'm here if you need me and you can reach out.'"
Moving on to Erica, he continued, "I'm blocked by Erica because I called her and Jordan 'rodents', because they are. I still reached out to her on WhatsApp [after they split] to say, 'I hope you're okay. I'm here if you need a chat."
In an unexpected twist, Georges revealed that Erica did, in fact, reply to his WhatsApp message to say thank you.
Quenched?
