Tonight (26 February) will the see the majority of the Married At First Sight UK cast reunited for the first time since the show came to an end last year and are any of us really ready for what's in store?
Ever since it was announced that the reunion was going to air on the same day as the first MAFS Australia 2024 episode we have been beyond hyped; a MAFS double whammy is what reality TV dreams are made of.
Our excitement for the reunion and the return of MAFS down under has only increased in the past weeks as the UK cast of the 2023 dating show have been back at each other's throats.
From break-ups and new romances to shading each other and calling out the show's producers, there is no denying that the brides and grooms from last year LOVE the drama.
Ahead of tonight's episode we caught up with Jay Howard, who was matched with Luke Worley on the show, and she opened up about her MAFS experience as well as her thoughts on a recently-split couple.
Nobody was all that surprised when Peggy Rose and Georges Berthonneau called it a day on their romance; between the squatting, the rimming and Peggy's Sylvanian-Families-style interior design they didn't seem like the most ideal match. If we're being honest, we were more surprised that they lasted the entirety of the experiment to be honest and it turns out Jay had the same thoughts.
"We all knew that Peggy and Georges weren't gonna last for the long run," the northern bride admitted.
She continued, "We knew that anyway. We were quite surprised that they were still together at this reunion to be honest, at the time."
"I've seen the articles that [Peggy and Georges] brought out with each other," Jay continued, "I think it's kind of they're just digging at each other now. I think it's just pathetic."
Well that escalated quickly. We wonder if Jay will be voicing such thoughts at the reunion dinner party or were Peggy and Georges still an item when it was filmed?
Jade added, "Just to try and get as much press as possible. That's what I think. I know that they're both upset from what I've heard, I don't really speak to them. I kind of stay out of that one to be honest."
