Take the likes of Vicky and Millie who are a fan of Melissa Odabash. Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, and Pamela Anderson love Frankies Bikinis. And classic Hunza G pieces have been worn by the links of Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Rihanna in the past."
And don't worry if you haven't got that A-list budget, as Scott points out. "What is great is that you can find affordable versions of most of these swimsuits on the high street.”
What bikinis will be in fashion this summer?
“This summer is all about braving the bold hues” Scott tells heat. “Forget pastels and embrace vibrant shades of red, green and blues. These have been trending colours this year so far and they aren’t going anywhere any time soon.”
But what about that classic black bikini, because not everyone wants to stand out in bright colours, right? “One of my personal favourite colours black is sweeping many styles too. It’s a perfect classic colour to see you through the season now and beyond.
“Another big trend which we’re excited to see merge into the swim world are corsages,” continues Scott. “2023 saw the comeback of 3D floral necklaces and bracelets, yet 2024, is all about incorporating them into your clothing.”
How do celebs pick their bikinis?
If, like us, you’re feeling the pressure about finding the perfect bikini then you’re in luck. Scott has spilled the tea on how he styles our fave stars in their swimwear.
“When it comes styling a celeb, for me it’s all about their personal taste and what they’re comfortable with because no one wants to feel out of place or uncomfortable in swimwear.”
But that doesn’t mean being boring with your bikinis, right?
“I always try to give options of something a little out of their comfort zone, whether that be trying a trend such as high-rise bikini bottoms or new decorative touches like frills.”
Ultimately, it is a case of trial and error. Get comfy at home with your online orders and get ready to try them all on in front of your fave mirror – eventually, you’ll find a style that you’ll want to pose away in.
