Do we have really another Love Island wedding on the way?
Sometimes we forget that the dating show has provided us with true love and long-lasting relationships – not just LOADS of Hello Fresh ambassadors.
From Cara de la Hoyde and Nathan Massey, to Jessica Shears and Dom Lever, those earlier seasons of Love Island really were about romance and contestants finding their happily ever after.
The later seasons...not so much, although, having said that, Love Island 2021 winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon managed to rekindle their romance and are still going strong.
However, it's a recent Instagram post from Antigoni Buxton that has us questioning EVERYTHING.
The Love Island 2022 bombshell took to her social media to share a 'proposal' pic and our instant thought was, 'HOW THE HELL DID WE MISS THIS?'
Thoughts and theories started whirling through our brain as we tried to comprehend how the iconic Islander was ready for marriage when we didn't even know she was in a relationship.
Who is she dating? Is it another Islander? How long have they been together? Is this proposal for real?
But two seconds later we glanced at the entire caption and realised we may have got a tad ahead of ourselves.
Not like us, we know.
Antigoni wrote, "it was reaaally giving proposal spot...so it's only right @danicataylor💍😂🤍 " as she shared a cute AF pic of her and fellow former Islander Danica Taylor that featured Danica down on one knee.
So it is definitely all in jest, but we also wish it wasn't because are these two not the epitome of 'deserved better'? Imagine if they decided to just ditch the fellas and have their own cute li'l romance.
Not only does it genuinely look like a soon-to-be wedding snap, but both Antigoni and Danica are dressed in white, adding to the whole proposal vibe.
The two bombshells were enjoying a few days away with Paige Thorne, who also joined them on the girlie getaway.
