Look, there's been a hell of a lot of good telly on over the last few months, so as far as we're concerned, you're forgiven for missing the latest series of Celebrity Ex on the Beach, starring the likes of Love Island's Paige Turley, Finn Tapp, and Joe Garrett.
We have to say, we do have a little Islander fatigue lately; it does all get a bit confusing when shows like Celebrity Ex on the Beach and Celebs Go Dating keep recruiting Love Island stars. Anyone else feel like they're just watching the same love stories play out in a variety of different mediums?
We're manifesting a civilian-only Love Island 2024. Honestly. As much as we love our Islanders, this all needs a reboot.
Okay, rant over.
At the end of the day, we are heat, so we obviously did watch Celebrity Ex on the Beach and if you can handle yet another celebrity reality dating show, this is actually worth a binge, particularly to follow the erm, reunion of Love Island 2020 winners Paige and Finn (following rumours of a fake split ahead of the show).
*SPOILERS AHEAD AND ALL THAT*
Their journey was actually quite wholesome and touching, and although they didn't get back together, they expressed a lot of love for each other towards the end. Then, of course, Finn allegedly spent the night with fellow contestant Tamara Joy after filming, and, of course, Paige found out, so we're not betting on any happily ever afters right now.
Or are we?
According to Finn, he's "still going strong" with a fellow contestant three months on... and it's not Paige or Tamara.
Finn is actually referring to his "bromance" with Love Island: All Stars' Joe and to be fair, we get it.
These two are the highly underrated Tom Clare and Casey O'Gorman in our books, and given those two are on a bromance hiatus since Tom moved up north with girlfriend Molly Smith, we're now seriously backing new bros Finn and Joe.
Finn and Joe became the broiest of bros while filming Celebrity Ex on the Beach and have since gone on an array of holidays and spent a month in Australia together.
Sharing an official video of Joe gushing about Finn, Paige's ex commented, "3 holidays and a month in Australia later, still going strong."
In the video in question, Joe told producers, "I met Finn, he is absolutely my boy, and who would have thought it?
"I stayed in bed with Finn from the start, and I'm finishing in bed with Finn. I'm excited to meet his mum and dad."
