We'll be honest, we gave pretty much all of this year's Love Island: All Stars a not-so-generous 'best before date' in terms of how long they'd last IRL and they have gone and proven our cynical selves completely wrong.
It's not that we didn't want Gabby Allen x Casey O'Gorman, Grace Jackson x Luca Bish, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu x Curtis Pritchard, Catherine Agbaje x Omar Nyame and Elma Pazar x Sammy Root to work out as couples (far from it), we just know that the vast majority of Love Island couples have the durability of a Housewives dinner party.
But fair play to them all, they shut us right up and are all still going strong.
And extra kudos must go to Luca and Grace who are now officially girlfriend and boyfriend after Luca pulled out all the stops with a 'proposal' style ceremony on an Abu Dhabi beach complete with white roses, camera crews and personalised neon signs. Anyone else remember when people just made it Facebook official? Us neither.
Anyway, naturally, Grace said yes and they have been redefining the phrase 'couple goals' ever since, tbh.
But, it might look all perfect and blissful now, but let's remember the All Stars runners-up have had quite the bumpy road in getting to where they are now – we're talking Love Island exes, show backlash and of course, screenshot-gate courtesy of Liv Hawkins.
But we don't think they have anything to worry about from their Love Island exes in 2025; Gemma Owen never talks about Love Island anymore, Joey Essex is back living in Joey land and Reuben Collins? Well, he's been publicly cheerleading his ex's new relationship.
What a gent.
Speaking with The Mirror at the Nominal Fashion show in London, Reuben was asked what he made of Grace and Luca finally going official and he beamed, 'I haven't specifically met Luca before but he seems cool, he seems like a great guy. Like congrats, like I'm just buzzing for them really.'
The Love Island 2024 bombshell added, 'And I like Grace, she’s a good girl, like I expect nothing less for her, she deserves the best.'
Reuben entered the villa late in the game last summer and immediately went on a date with Uma Jammeh, Mimii Ngulube and Jessy Potts. It was quite clear that Reuben took a shine to Uma and he later chose to recouple with her, meaning Uma's partner Wil Anderson was dumped from the villa.
Uma quit the villa to leave with Wil, so Reuben later coupled up with Grace. Bombshell Lola Deluca chose to steal Reuben a few days later but they didn't make it out of the friend zone and Reuben chose to recouple with Grace.
The couple were eventually dumped and decided to give things a go IRL in the few remaining weeks of the summer before deciding to call time on the romance.
