We must confess, when it was rumoured a Love Island star was spending an unusual amount of time time with the cast of Made in Chelsea, the name 'Casey O'Gorman' didn't even enter our brains.
Firstly, he is NOT from Chelsea, in fact, the winter 2023 Islander isn't even from London, but then again neither is Lauren Sintès or James Taylor, so we will let that one slide.
Secondly, we had no idea he was even pals with any of the guys and gals from MIC but it makes sense he is mates with Tristan Phipps and Miles Nazaire. They one hundred percent discuss the merits of boat shoes, pastel shirts with a minimal number of buttons and the best place to catch a tan, play golf and break hearts.
The All Stars bombshell first appeared in this week's episode, which aired on Monday 25 November, and it saw him share the tiniest of flirts with Jules Pollard.
When Casey rocked up on the trailer for series 28, fans of MIC could not believe he had managed to land the role and some were even confused by his grinning face on their screens.
'Casey is not serious 😂', one person commented when the official Made in Chelsea Instagram account posted the teaser, with another adding, 'Is this Casey from Love Island? Looks like him.'
It sure is and we have to add that one of our favourite things about newcomers joining reality TV shows is that the cast act as if they have NO IDEA who they are. Come on Jules, don't pretend you didn't watch Casey get it on with Eve Gale on All Stars.
So far, all we know about Casey's MIC stint is that he shares a romantic dalliance with Jules, however, it looks as though a certain former safari guide is NOT happy about the potential love affair.
In a sneak peek for next week's episode, Tristan confesses he isn't thrilled that his pal is looking to hook up with Jules because he still likes her.
Excuse you, Tristan Phipps? Not only did you and Jules end things last season, but you took part in Celebs Go Dating, started a new relationship during your trip to Bondi and brought said chica, who goes by the name of Molly Paradice, BACK to London.
All will be revealed in the upcoming episodes during the cast trip to Antigua, but if we had to guess how it all plays out we would imagine the guys have a mini row, Tristan kisses Jules, Casey shrugs it off and they all live happily ever after.
