The very first Love Island: All Stars slapped. No questions at this time.
The love triangles, the endless barrage of exes, the shade, the chemistry, the IRL break-ups; if ITV don't renew it next year we'll...well, we'll just watch something else, but we'd be VERY moody.
As with previous series of Love Island, All Stars was not without its drama and some of the biggest drama of the series erupted when Love Island 2023's Mitch Taylor and Love Island 2019's Anton Danyluk came to bro blows over the ethics of bro code. Remember?
Mitch strutted up to Anton in the All Stars villa and said, "You are talking to Lib behind my back. Going against me and it's not really bro code."
To which Anton replied (setting social media rightfully ablaze), "There's no bro code, there's right and wrong."
Since returning to real life, the rivalling bros have not been able to keep each other's names out of their mouths in interviews. In fact, just days after being dumped, Mitch exclusively told heatworld that Anton's relationship with Georgia Harrison was "fake" (which to be fair to Mitch, is a common belief amongst the fanbase these days).
Anyway, the Mess Lord has stirred the pot once again by telling a freelance sports journalist – ahead of a boxing match because Islander boys love it for some reason – that he would "fight" rival Anton in the ring some day.
When asked which three Islanders he would love to fight, it didn't take long for Mitch to utter Anton's name, "I'd fight Anton... Do you know what? Anton lets me down a lot...just morals and stuff like that. He's let me down a tiny bit. I don't hate him or anything like that. I've got nothing much to say on it."
Despite saying that, he continued, "Anton, I'd fight Anton but he'd have to lose a lot of weight because he's got a lot of muscle. I'd still slap his head off."
Discussing where he stands with his fellow All Star, Mitch revealed, "I saw him at the PLT event and he tried to brush it off. He's said some things he shouldn't have said and he's let me down. I'll be mutual with him, but he'll never be a friend of mine, never."
Fighting talk – we think. We're more au fait with shade to be honest.
To be fair, Mitch did also mentioned Scott van Der Sluis's and Luca Bish's names.
He said, "Fight wise, as much as Scott's my boy, I think we'd do good in the ring. I'd fight Scott. I'd fight Anton...
Speaking of Luca, the Islander said, "I'd box Luca. You know when I went in [to the villa] the first time? Everyone called me the spit of Luca, but I've got at leach three inches height on him. So yeah, Luca, Scott...I'm not stupid enough to try and fight Jacques. Jacques is a big guy."
Mitch did then wrap things up by suggesting he was too pretty to box, btw. So there's that.
