Although Love Island is supposed to be all about finding The One, there are countless contestants who may not have found true romance on the show but they have found their ultimate BFF, which is WAY better.

Chloe Burrows and Millie Court are basically soul mates and don't even get us started on what is going on between Casey O'Gorman and Tom Clare.

But it turns out that not everybody finds the Molly-Mae Hague to their Maura Higgins during their eight week getaway. One Islander who has recently opened up about the struggles when it came to making friends is All Stars winner, Molly Smith.

The Love Island 2020 bombshell was a guest on Olivia Attwood's So Wrong It's Right podcast this week where she chatted about both her villa experiences and touched on joining the show as a Casa Amor girlie.

"I mean, hats off to anyone that does Casa Amor," Olivia began, "Because I obviously went as an original and, it was the first series that they did Casa Amor and I just thought, for the boys and the girls, that is a tough way to go in."

We have a feeling that even if the Love Island 2017 star WAS a Casa Amor late entrant she still would have been an iconic Islander.

"Yeah, it is," Molly agreed, with Olivia stating she thought it seemed "scary".

"And then not only that, if you do end up coming back like I did, you are then interfering with everyone who's already settled in there," Molly explained with a nod to her first trip to the Love Island villa.

"And you've obviously annoyed everyone in there."

Back in 2020 Molly matched up with Callum Jones, despite him already being in a couple with Shaughna Phillips.

Molly and Callum's return to the OG villa resulted in one of the shows most unforgettable fire pit recouplings as Shaughna simply looked at Molly and muttered, "Congrats, hun."

"So you've moved into a new house and no one wants to be your friend," Olivia joked.

"No one wants to be your friend," Molly agreed with a laugh and it's a touch of the 'if we don't laugh we'll cry' because that sounds like the WORST thing.

"Not one single person likes you."

We like you, Molly, and judging by how well your romance with Tom is going we have a feeling he is also a fan.
