With the end of the year getting closer and closer (seriously, where is the time going?), it won’t be long before Love Island is back on our screens for another series of All Stars following the success of the first season earlier this year.

As expected, loads of former Islanders have been linked to the show – everyone from Tyrique Hyde to Scott Thomas and Grace Jackson to Gemma Owen.

Love Island 2023 bombshell Abi Moores has also been heavily rumoured to be taking part, although we were a bit confused when we saw her name amongst the speculation because she’s also been linked to gone-too-soon Love Island 2024 fitlord Sam Taylor.

Abi was one of many famous faces on the red carpet at the Winter Wonderland in London’s Hyde Park last night (Wednesday 20 November), so of course we had to corner her for a chat about what’s going on in her love life.

Breaking her silence on the rumours she’s dating Sam, Abi told us there was nothing romantic going on between them. In fact, she placed him firmly in the family zone.

‘No, nothing romantic. We literally are just best friends, he’s like my little brother,’ Abi said.

‘No one even realises, he’s only 23. I love him so much, but genuinely as my little brother. I want to find him a nice lady.’

And what better place to find him a partner than in the All Stars villa? Go on producers, get them both in there.

As for whether she would return to the show, Abi admitted she’s up for it. She told us, ‘I would definitely go back. If I was asked, I would love to go back and find love maybe this time.

‘My journey last time wasn’t so smooth, so I’d love the opportunity.’

Abi’s first Love Island stint was dominated by her love triangle with ‘Messy’ Mitch Taylor and Ella Barnes. Viewers will remember that things were go swimmingly for Abi and Mitch before Ella entered the villa and turned his head 180.

However, in true Messy Mitch fashion, he wasn’t entirely honest with either party, which led to an almighty showdown.

Abi and Mitch did manage to make amends, but then he randomly unfollowed her back in August after going public with his new girlfriend. ‘This is so rogue, I didn't even realise that this had happened,’ Abi said at the time.

‘No idea why [he unfollowed me]. I mean I actually would still consider him a friend in the industry, we've never fallen out. We actually get on better probably better now than we did before. I saw him a few weeks ago at an event, literally no problems.’
