Just as names of potential Love Island contestants start popping up all over the place, the names of single former Islanders' start following suit.
Ever since Adam Collard rocked up on season eight of the dating show, fans have been speculating if someone else will follow in his footsteps; just like Kady McDermott did in 2023.
To be fair, it's not just former Love Island stars whose names are mentioned when fans discuss the potential romance reality TV show line-up. Now that we know the ITV big bosses are open to having reality TV legends, like Joey Essex, on Love Island, no one is safe.
With that in mind, when the official Love Island Instagram account uploaded a teaser for series 12 that featured everyone's favourite host Maya Jama, countless former Islanders commented on the video, but it was Whitney Adebayo's remark that caught our attention...
'It’s the sznnnnn 👀❤️,' she wrote, and that eye emoji speaks a thousand words.
Whit was a finalist on Love Island 2023, where she came in second place alongside now ex-boyfriend, Lochan Nowacki. The couple lost out to Jess Harding and Sammy Root – who have also since split – and although Whitney and Lochan stayed together, they split just last month after two years together.
And we're not the only ones who would love to see Whitney back on the show again; a follower couldn't help but respond to her comment with a hopeful, '@whitneyadebayo please go again.'
Tanya Manhenga and Georgia Harrison also commented their excitement on the grid post, but Tanya is all loved up with her new fella and Georgia is pregnant, so we are pretty sure they won't be returning to the show anytime soon.
But Whitney is newly single (we think) and always makes for hella hilarious TV. How could we forgot all those iconic one-liners during her first stint in the villa?
