It is always a bittersweet moment when Love Island comes to an end.
On the one hand we have an empty hole in our hearts as well as weekday evenings free at 9pm but on the other hand Islanders who never came to face-to-face in the villa start interacting IRL and it makes for some VERY interesting pairings.
Did someone say Grace Jackson and Omar Nyame?
But it turns out that some of the Love Island 2024 contestants have decided to step it up a notch and have branched out of their own series to hang out with Islanders from previous seasons. Controversial.
Earlier on in the week Jess White and Hugo Godfroy announced they were no longer an item after Hugo was spotted locking lips with Love Island 2023 bombshell Charlotte Sumner.
ICYMI, Charlotte was on Love Island 2023 but only for a cheeky four days as she failed to make a real connection with any of the lads despite having a bit of a flirt with Zach Noble.
Perhaps the dental nurse should have taken part in this year's series as not only did she share a steamy moment with Hugo, but she has also caught the eye of northern barber, Sam Taylor, and it's thanks to Abi Moores that we know this.
You guys remember Abi Moores, right?
She was part of the chaotic love triangle that consisted of Abi (obv), 'Messy' Mitch Taylor and Ella Barnes and also coupled up with the King of Savage Comebacks, Scott van-der-Sluis.
Anyway, we digress, Abi posted a video on her social media that shows just how close Sam and Charlotte have been getting and let's put it this way, oh how we wish to be Charlotte Sumner right now.
Firstly the duo are spotted sharing a bed and having a little giggle and on the second story Sam is shown giving Charlotte a fireman carry as they have a wander around.
Jealous? Us? Never.
We assume Sam became mates with Abi via Mitch as when Sam was booted out of the villa (on DAY ONE might we add) he seemed to find a friend in the form of Mitch.
As for Mitch and Abi, despite having constant rows during their time in the villa, the duo seemed to have made amends once their time on the dating show was over and are now pretty close pals.
We have to admit we lowkey love this foursome that has formed; we imagine the double dates would be absolute carnage.
