There's no denying former Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing is ultimate couple goals with wifey Sophie Habboo, hosting hilarious podcasts and uploading laugh-worthy TikToks. It's enough to make anyone jel.
But while they’re now the image of domestic bliss, it took quite the ride to get here. In fact. before becoming a husband, Made In Chelsea's Jamie had quite the colourful love life.
Here's everything to know about Jamie Laing's wild dating history - from love triangles to billionaires.
2012: Tara Keeney
2013: Louise Thompson
Remember this one? Jamie and Louise Thompson’s very brief relationship ended in a messy love triangle, with Louise leaving Jamie for Spencer Matthews. Need we remind you, that coupling didn’t last either – with Spencer now loved up with Vogue Williams, and Louise engaged to Ryan Libbey.
2012: Binky Felstead
Jamie and Binky Felstead also gave romance a shot and this was one relationship fans were thrilled about. However, ultimately, the pair decided they were better off as pals.
2013: Lucy Watson
This is one breakup we could never forget.
Jamie and Lucy Watson’s love affair ended in heartbreak, with Jamie later finding out that Lucy was enjoying secret trysts with his close pal Oliver Proudlock. Opening up about the betrayal back in 2014, Jamie shared, ‘I mean, what the hell? I had no idea about Lucy and Proudlock. I found out last of everyone. It sucked.’ We’ve all been there…
2014: Riley Uggla
Ever found yourself pining over your ex? So has Jamie.
Poor Riley Uggla found herself collateral damage of Lucy and Jamie’s fiery ending. Despite dating Riley, Jamie admitted that he still had feelings for his ex, Lucy. 'I fancy Riley, but I fancy Lucy way more. I don’t think Riley knows,’ he told him co-stars.
Dear Reader, Riley did indeed find out. Another one bites the dust.
2015: Jessica Woodley
History repeated itself after both Jamie and co-star Andy Jordan set their sights on Jess Woodley. Jess eventually chose Jamie, but in true Chelsea style, it all went wrong for the couple.
After ending things, Jamie said, ‘It really sucked filming with her afterwards. I don’t have the power to [get her fired] but I wish I did,' he told The Mirror. Ouch…
2016-2017: Frankie Gaff
Jamie and Frankie Gaff dated for about a year, before splitting amid a whirlwind of rumours that they were both cheating. Oo-err.
Frankie was spotted smooching TOWIE’s Dan Edgar, and Jamie was reportedly seen back on the dating apps soon after.
2018: Heloise Agostinelli
Jamie moved on from Frankie with the help of French model Heloise Agostinelli – known as ‘Ell’ on the show. The daughter of Italian-American billionaire Roberty Agostinelli, Heloise and Jamie’s 10-year age gap was often the talk of the town. Their sweet romance lasted a year, before going their separate ways.
2019-present: Sophie Habboo
Sophie ‘Habbs’ Habboo met Jamie while appearing on Made In Chelsea, with the couple dating since April 2019. The couple tied the knot last year with a Chelsea-based legal ceremony followed by a gorge Spanish wedding (we’re totally not jel), but let’s not forget the boat-loads of drama that led up to their special day,
Sophie originally joined the cast of MIC back in 2018 as a friend of Frankie… As in, the Frankie Gaff who dated Jamie for a year back in 2016. Sophie immediately struck up a holiday romance with Alex, but that fizzled out over Christmas. Sophie then began dating Jamie’s other best friend, Sam Thompson, for six months.
Now, our Sophie and Jamie love story begins forming once these two singletons – with Jamie freshly split from Heloise, and Sophie calling it quits with Sam - found themselves becoming BFFs. Of course, they both denied any rumours of anything more than a totally platonic friendship… That is, until one episode revealed that they were indeed giving romance a shot. Cue the iconic line from Sophie Hermann (the best pal of Jamie’s ex Heloise): ‘I’m sorry, I don’t speak snake.’
It wasn’t an easy ride for our loved up Habbs and Jamie – namely Jamie sleeping with Rosi Mai Waldon back in 2019 while he was exclusive with Habbs – but it all worked out in the end. The lovebirds move in together in 2020, proved their haters wrong by getting engaged in 2021, launched their Nearly Weds podcast in 2022, and then finally walked down the aisle last year. Power couple, anyone?
