It may have been relatively short-lived, but the Love Island love triangle between Samie Elishi, Luca Bish and Grace Jackson certainly provided plenty of drama.
Things were already kinda awkward between them after Samie entered the All Stars 2025 villa and made a beeline for Grace’s man Luca, but then Olivia Hawkins dropped that screenshots bombshell just before the final and Samie backed her fellow winter Love Island 2023 star up by admitting that she’d seen the screenshots herself.
Grace and Luca managed to overcome the Samie-shaped bump in the road and finished the show in second place behind eventual winners Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman, but things took another turn when Grace branded Samie the ‘snakiest’ Islander on Sophie Habboo and Melissa Tattam’s Wednesdays podcast.

Now, in a podcast appearance of her own, Samie has revealed she secretly confronted Grace about her remarks on a night out and the BRITs – and oh, how we would have loved to be a fly on the wall.
Speaking on Love Island 2021 winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon’s podcast, Samie explained, ‘I did speak to her just because I basically said that I didn't appreciate that she called me the snakiest Islander on the podcast she went on.
‘I just said to her, “honestly, I feel like I haven't done anything in my eyes to you and it was just about the messages and stuff.” I was like, “listen, I was saying what I’ve seen.”’

Samie, who previously dated Love Island: All Stars 2024 winner Tom Clare, continued, ‘She agreed that she didn't think that Liv had photoshopped them or anything like that, which I was like, “oh okay, well you tell everyone else that,” because I just knew what Liv was going through and what I was going through as well and it just wasn’t nice.
‘She fully knows about the hate, but she didn't apologise for calling me the snakiest. She just said, “that's how I felt,” so we just kind of left it as that.’
The pair “agreed to disagree”, with Samie adding, ‘I can’t change someone’s opinion of me, no matter what I do, and that’s not what I tried to do. I was just hearing her out and seeing why she said that because I was genuinely confused.’

ICYMI, Samie entered as one of the final bombshells of the series alongside Chuggs Wallis with her sights set on Luca after they’d shared some flirty DMs in the outside world. However, unfortunately for Samie, Luca was coupled up with Grace and only had eyes for her.
Samie was dumped just a week after she walked through the villa doors and Grace and Luca made it all the way to the final, finishing as runners-up.
