Samie is from North London and bonded with Shaq Muhammad over the fact that he is from West London, as if NOBODY else in the world is from England's capital.
The Londoner also revealed her family heritage in a YouTube Q&A.
'I'm going to address this one because there's been so much confusion when I was in the villa about my ethnicity and where I'm actually from,' she began.
'Obviously, [I'm a] London girl. City girl. I am from London but my dad is Moroccan.
'So that makes me half Moroccan and half English. I think there's a bit of Welsh in there from my mum's side, but it all gets muddled into one sometimes.'
What happened when Samie Elishi was on Love Island?
She rocked up in the South African villa on day 14 and coupled up with Kai Fagan. A few days later, Jordan Odofin came in and took Samie on a date.
However, on day 21, Samie chose to couple up with Tom, with him picking her at the next fire pit gathering. On day 28, Casa Amor hit.
Tom shared a kiss (or two) with Lydia Karakyriakou during his week away from Samie, but decided to stick with her once Casa was over.
The duo remained in a couple all the way to the final where they finished in third place behind Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins who were declared runners-up and Kai and his (now fiancée) Sanam Harrinanan, who won the dating show.

They came in third place on Love Island and remained a couple once they left the villa but shortly after called it a day on their relationship.
Tom admitted he 'didn't think he'd be writing' about their break-up and said he's 'gutted' about their relationship ending.
Samie hinted that things have been 'unfair'following their split.
What happened when Samie Elishi was on Love Island: All Stars?
She entered the villa on day 22 alongside Chuggs Wallis where she made it pretty damn clear she had eyes for Luca Bish and Luca Bish only.
On paper, Samie was Luca's type (petite, brunette, brown eyes, tanned, gorgeous etc) and it was revealed, pretty early on, that the duo had even shared a DM or two prior to taking part in the dating show.
That being said Luca was in a pretty solid couple with Grace Jackson when Samie came on the scene; Grace soon clocked that Luca and Samie may well be sharing a little something, something, especially when it was revealed that they had chatted before.
Everything went from bad to worse when Luca kissed Samie during a game of Spin the Bottle and all hell broke loose. To be fair to Grace, he DID say he wasn't going to kiss Samie hence the reason she was fuming.
Anyway, long story short, Luca told Samie he didn't want to pursue anything with her romantically as he liked Grace and just four days later Samie was left single and dumped from the villa alongside Danielle Sellers.

Before going into the villa, Samie had two jobs - one as an estate agent and the other as a part-time restaurant worker.
Nowadays, she is a regular influencer and also works as a 'network influencer' for her own 'earn and travel' company called Get Away with Samie.

Since she split from Tom, Samie dated footballer and former TOWIE star Harry Lee. They dated for the majority of 2024 before things came to an end in September.
