Married At First Sight doesn't have a great track record for creating everlasting relationships, no shade to the panel of experts, but, well, it just doesn't.
It does however have a better track record at picking bride and grooms that would work in a relationship with a DIFFERENT bride and groom.
Just ask Thomas Kriaras.
Confused? Allow us to explain...
The MAFS 2023 groom has started tongue wagging as he shared a cute little drink date with a bride from a different season and please, PLEASE let this be the romance they both deserve.
Taking to social media, Thomas met up with Tahnee Cook from last year's MAFS Australia and we may just cry from cuteness overload if these two are dating.
Posting a video of them doing a boomerang with their cocktails - such millennial behaviour - Thomas re-shared Tahnee's Instagram story with the caption, "POV getting espresso martinis & chatting about your TV marriages."
Tahnee was matched with Ollie Skelton on the show and the couple were the most unproblematic duo of their season; they also lasted the longest, having only split in December of last year.
Thomas was partnered with Rozz Darlington during his MAFS stint but that relationship didn't even make it past the final ceremony let alone outside of the social experiment.
Side note, is it just us or was Thomas the Ollie Skelton of his season?
If these two ARE the real deal they would be in fabulous company because, as we previously said, they wouldn't be the first non-matched bride and groom to spark up a romance.
Aussie bride Evelyn Ellis was partnered with Rupert Bugden but that was not to be and now she's all loved up with Duncan James (the Australian reality TV star, NOT the singer from Blue.)
Not forgetting Shona Manderson and Matt Pilmoor from the UK version of the dating show, who may have been in the same season but never actually crossed paths; that didn't stop them from falling for each other outside of the show, though.
We know what you're thinking, though, he lives in the UK and she's down under, but don't forget that Love Island babes Will Young (why are there so many reality TV stars with the same names as pop singers THOUGH?) and Jessie Wynter have made their romance work so zero excuses, please.
