What is going on in the world of Love Island couples? It seems every time we check out social media another duo has called it a day on their relationship.
Last week Love Island 2020 babes Nas Mjaeed and Eva Zapico confirmed they were no more and just a few months prior, the winning couple from that same season, Paige Turley and Finley Tapp, announced they had gone their separate ways.
Now it has been confirmed that Molly Marsh and Zach Noble, who took part in the dating show last year, are no more.
Molly and Zach were a bit of a rogue couple on the in the Love Island 2023 villa; it was all very "he was a punk, she did ballet," but instead "he was a G, she just did Glee."
However, despite Molly being booted off the show, only to return during Casa Amor week and nobody quite understanding their dynamic, the couple made it to the final and ended up coming in fourth place.
Since they left the villa, Molly and Zach went through the usual rounds; joint interviews, red carpet events and the basketball player also featured in some of his bae's iconic TikTok videos, not forgetting the theatre queen even being tattooed in honour of Zach. Wild.
However, it has now been confirmed that "they have made the decision to end their relationship," and, lets be honest, nobody is THAT surprised.
A source told Digital Spy that, "They both are still extremely close friends and will be supporting each other in their next ventures."
We wouldn't expect anything less from the couple to be honest.
It had all gone VERY quiet on the Zolly front in the past few months - just made that nickname up and we're sticking to it - with fans noting that they had deleted pics of each other from their social media accounts.
Prior to confirmation coming though that they had split, over on Reddit aka the blackhole of conspiracies, rumours and insane theories, everybody was already gossiping about the apparent break up.
One person wrote, "Wishing them all the best and damn love is really struggling in 2024."
Yeah, you're telling us.
Someone else admitted, "Wild… I was stalking them last week and they were together!" and another added, "Damn it’s only been 6 months and only Whitney [Adebayo] and Lochan [Nowacki] remain together. Yikes."
Whitney and Lochan simply cannot break up, we need them to make more TikTok's where they act out Vampire Diaries scenes. Never knew we needed Lochan lip-syncing Damon Salvatore lines, yet here we are.
The winners from Love Island 2023 were, of course, Jess Harding and Sammy Root but they broke up approximately 0.2 seconds after leaving the villa which just leaves Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde who, although haven't confirmed a split, are no longer Instagram pals, so.....
We have a sneaking suspicion a statement will be posted on social media from the Molly and Zach any minute now but as it stands the source told Digital Spy, "The relationship has ended on good terms for both of them, and they wish nothing but the best for one another."
It is all very adult and mature of them, isn't it?
Molly and Zach's reps have been contacted for comment.
