The thing about dating in the world of Made in Chelsea is that you can almost guarantee you know someone else who has hooked up with whoever you are currently dating.
Lucy Watson had a dalliance with 'Lost Bois' BFFs Jamie Laing and Oliver 'Prudders' Proudlock before locking it in with James Dunmore.
More recently, Sam Prince split with Inga Valentiner and hooked up with her pal and co-star Yasmine Zweegers two days later, and in the upcoming season it looks as though a should-be-dead romance will play a HUGE part in the series.
We are, of course, talking about the fiery AF love affair between Chelsea Casanova Miles Nazaire and former French flame, Maeva D'Ascanio.
The duo had one hell of a tumultuous relationship but we all assumed that was water under the bridge what with Maeva being married to James Taylor and them having a baby together and all that, but this is MIC, guys.
In the trailer for the upcoming series it looks as though it's all about to kick off when Miles receives a message from Maeva which leaves Temps looking like the Pikachu meme. Google it, you'll understand.
As we wait for series 28 to air we thought we would give you all a recap on one of the most complicated relationships in MIC history.
2016
Lets start at the beginning; Miles was 21 years old when he dated Maeva, who was 24 at the time. They dated for three years before calling it a day on their relationship around the end of 2018/beginning of 2019.
2019
Just as their romance came to an end Maeva joined Made in Chelsea and judging by his reaction the gym bro had NO CLUE his ex was soon to become a permanent part of the MIC cast.
The duo rekindled their romance and although Miles claimed it was on a causal level, Maeva was upset when she discovered he had been hooking up with other people and ended things for good.
Bear in mind Miles was pretty new to the SW3 scene as well, having only joined a few months prior as the best bud of James Taylor.
This is where the plot thickens.
Later on in the season it was revealed that James, who was apparently one of Miles' bezzie mates, had shared a kiss with Maeva. These Chelsea chaps never were very good when it came to loyalty.
Miles was DEVASTATED, no joke. The charmer broke down in tears when Maeva told him the news in her classic nonchalant manner.
He even threw some sort of alcoholic beverage in the middle of a bar and stormed off crying.
Although Miles and Maeva never actually got back together a great deal of deep chats and flirty talks occurred throughout the next few seasons with Maeva even admitting to still being in love with Miles and the latter confessing, 'I hate you two together [James and Maeva], it eats me alive all the time.'
2021
After taking a break from the show, Miles returned for series 21 where he flirted up a storm with both Ruby Adler and Inga.
Naturally, Maeva couldn't help but become involved, much to James' distain, with Sophie Hermann implying that Miles and Maeva's chats were far from platonic. Eeeek.
While Maeva and James continued to break up/get back together/break up/get back together, Miles was rumored to be dating several different reality TV stars including Ella May Ding and Yasmine Zweegers.
2022
When Maeva proposed to James in 2022, her friendship with Miles and how close the former lovers were, was a constant talking point.
James turned down the proposal and Maeva continued to have a close relationship with Miles and continued to find herself involved in some of his on-screen romances, especially his fleeting dalliance with Issy Francis Baum.
2023
However, when James finally dropped to one knee and asked Maeva to marry him, during a trip around Europe, it seemed to be the nail in the coffin of the Miles and Maeva love affair.
Or so we thought.
2024
Five years after their relationship came to an end it turns out that Miles and Maeva are back on talking terms and by talking we mean Maeva messaged her ex and everyone is GOBSMACKED.
Apparently James is not impressed because his eye is caught by an 'emotional social media post Miles made about his passionate history with Maeva.'
That's what the goss is over on The TV Guide website, anyway.
Made in Chelsea returns Monday 21 October, where we have feeling everything will be revealed and if not then channel 4 can expect a sternly worded email.
