Lucie is a reality star, model and influencer who rose to fame on the fifth series of ITV2 dating show Love Island.
What happened with Lucie Donlan was on Love Island?
During her time on Love Island Lucie was at first coupled up with Joe Garratt. Things didn't go down well when fans accused Joe of being 'controlling' and then Women's Aid released a statement about the show.
After Joe was dumped, Lucie got in a friendship couple with Anton Danyluk. She then confessed her feelings to Tommy Fury, even though he was happily coupled up with Molly-Mae Hague and Lucie was pals with her.
Lucie then recoupled with George Rains in Casa Amor but didn't last with George and Lucie and Maura Higgins bizarrely dumped the people they were coupled up together.
When did Lucie Donlan split from Joe Garratt?
Lucie and Joe first coupled up in the Love Island villa before he was dumped on day 16. Lucie didn’t leave the villa until day 36 and shortly after she recoupled with Joe in the outside world.
They dated for another four months before calling it quits once again.
“Joe and Lucie have decided to end things between them. They've been so busy with work lately that it's made it difficult for them to find time to see each other. They just grew apart,” a source told The Sun at the time.
It sounds like there’s no hard feelings between Lucie and Joe though as he gave her new relationship (more on that in a minute) his seal of approval.
“We had our good times, we had our really good times. It's just unfortunate that it ended but at the same time as long as she's happy, that's all I really care about now,” he told OK! magazine.
What was Lucie Donlan and Yewande Biala's 'bullying' row about?
It's fair to say that Lucie wasn't particularly close to the other female Islanders during her time in the villa and old tensions came to the surface once again when she accused Yewande Biala of "bullying" her.
When a fan brought to Lucie's attention that Yewande had labelled her a "horrible person" in a YouTube video, she replied, "She’s always bullied me, I’m not bothered about her opinion… makes her look bad. Not sure where she said that though!"
But Yewande was quick to hit back and claimed that Lucie refused to call her by her name as she found it "too hard to pronounce".
"You refused to call me by my name because it was too 'hard to pronounce' now you wanna say I bullied you!! Bullied 🤬," the Irish scientist tweeted.
Amber Gill rushed to defend Yewande as she tweeted, "Na when she said can I call you 'Y' I said lol no you can’t can I just call you 'her' you were peaceful in that exchange It was me with the vim."
Amy Hart also weighed in on the situation and added, "We haven’t spoken about it publicly because it was Yewande’s story to tell. I remember dates, times, locations of every conversation in that villa. There’s so much you don’t see x."
In the wake of the row, Lucie claimed she had been sent death threats and insisted there was "nothing sinister" about her asking to abbreviate Yewande's name. "

Although they were pals on the show, Lucie and Maura have seemingly drifted apart.
Lucie still follows the Irish Islander on Instagram but Maura no longer follows Lucie and fans are constantly speculating what led to their fall out.
"The two used to be very close, even going on holiday to the Maldives for Maura’s birthday this year," one wrote on Reddit, "Rumours are they have fallen out due to Molly Mae’s pregnancy (as Lucie and Molly do not like each other, while Maura and Molly are super close), but that seems strange."

Lucie lost two stone before entering the Love Island villa but later revealed she'd put the weight back on during her time on the show. "You're literally sitting around all day. You kind of do put weight on, so I did put a lot of weight on in there," she told her followers on Instagram.
But, after losing the weight she gained, Lucie admitted she was now at her "happy weight".
